COO / Cofounder

We are an early-stage social-impact Empathy AI startup looking for YOU to join as our COO and Cofounder in our mission to enable Voice systems to master non-verbal communication, making automated service experiences more empathic, individualized, and delightful. We want to enable AI to empathize and connect with humans beyond verbal communication and to do this in a way that is safe and sustainable for humanity and all of nature. To this end, we will use a significant share of our profits to directly promote empathy in society and for applied research on empathy and AI safety.

You will:

• Co-develop and execute business strategy towards early profitability and our mission
• Help set up and track key metrics
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the company
• Implement and continuously streamline organizational structure and communication
• Establish and maintain an empathic, inclusive, and diverse company culture
• Drive fundraising efforts and manage relationships with key stakeholders
• Manage initial team expansion

You bring:

• Prior experience in a tech startup, ideally as COO or similar position
• Results-driven mindset and excellent self-organization
• Solid understanding of business strategy and financial management
• Adaptability to dynamic business conditions
• Focus on empowerment and collaborative success over personal ambitions
• Exceptional verbal and written communication in English (German is a plus)
• Passion for making a positive impact on society

Don’t worry if you don’t check all the boxes. You will ultimately convince us with authenticity, wits, empathy, and a genuine interest in our mission. Ideally, you will be available for regular in-person collaboration in the Vorpommern-Rügen area or Berlin, Germany.
